Hi. I was wondering if anyone would be able give me step by step instructions on how to burn a downloaded xbox360 iso game file using imageburner or do you have any other recommendations for a different software to use.
Information you may need to help are:
-My xbox is chipped
-the downloaded game files are iso.
-i use 8.5gig double layer dvd+r discs.
-i burn the discs at full speed. (i dont know if i should be doing it at a slower speed like x4?)
Ive tried doing this myself and have no luck. If anyone could give me a step by step guide for dummys it would be much appreciated.
thanks.

Hi. I went through your 'How to Burn a 360 Game' thread and followed the instructions step by step and when i put the disc in my xbox and all that comes up is the white screen with the xbox360 sign in the middle and it wont move from that.
What i was wondering is why do i need to hav the .iso and .dvd files together in a folder when going off your instructions you dont even use the .iso file. Have i missed something out and not used the .iso file when i was meant to? or do you know where i am going wrong?
Thanks for your help. it is much appreciated.

I think he is just tired of folks not searching and asking the same questions repeatedly. I do not care either way. Its your money and your time.
You will need to know what firmware you have or what chip as newer games do not work on older firmware.
Run the .iso through Abgx360 first of all.
I use IMGburn.
Use DL Verbatims
Double click the .dvd and Imgburn will open
Set your booktype Tools>Drive>Change book type. find your burner and set DVD+R DL to DVD-Rom
I burn at 3x most of the time to play on my hitachi drive you can experiment.
Burn the image and verify it.
Should work depending on your firmware and such.
The .dvd is usually in the same folder as the iso. AND THE .DVD IS BASED OFF THE INFORMATION ON THE ISO OF COURSE YOU NEED IT!!!!
I'm not an expert I just read and search here when i need some information, if its never been asked i make a new thread so forgive me if I missed anything.

Have you tried scanning a burned disc with abgx360? Try that and see if it all checks out OK.
Also, what games are you burning? It could be that the games you've played previously are wave 3 and the games you're trying to burn now are wave 4, but you have a certain firmware installed that doesn't support wave 4 games. What happens when you put the disc into the 360? Does it show up at all or does it say "Play DVD"?

All the .dvd file does is tell IMGBurn what the layer break is. You could actually manually set the layer break in IMGBurn and leave it at that and never load a .dvd file again (as long as the proper layer break for 360 games remains set).
I would go to the homepage of the modchip your using and see if the have steps on how to burn the backups.

You don't supply quite enough info.
Answer these 4 questions in detail, and someone will more than likely be able to give you the answers you need.
1. What do you mean by "chipped"? Chipped and flashed are two different things (but accomplish the same goal).
2. What type of discs (Brand Name) are you using?
3. What are the newest games you've played on it. Not the latest game you've played, but the game with the latest release date.
4.What game are you trying to burn?

when i put the game in it normally loads to a screen and comes up with a picture like this:
http://crunchgear.com/wp-content/uploads/xbox360.jpg
and then if i press A it normally comes up with the dvd options,e.g. pause, fast forward, etc.
