ok sometimes when i open jf up it says no via ports found or it open and i find my ben q drive and i get it into vender mode then when i hit read it says unable to complete command im useing windows xp and via 6421

have you uninstalled the via drivers and installed portio on your pc.
have you got the tray half open?
have you installed dot net on the system?
not sure if im helping but google jungleflasher.pdf the new one links you quickly to where you need to be.

download the jungleflasher pdf as it has loads of troubleshooting tips.they are annoying when they are flashed already.
uninstall via drivers,install portio32 - mcafee can detect this as a virus so you may need to turn off mcafee,
i use the drive half open method and power the drive with a connectivity kit it is just easier for me.
you will find jungleflasher.pdf if you search in google.read it thoroughly before you start and ensure you properly extract your current firmware and back it up with a copy of your drive key incase of future drive problems.
