Will modern warfare 2 work on hitachi drives?

I was just wondering if mw2 will work on hitachi drives because they only go up to 1.5 on ixtreme and it says mw2 needs 1.6.Sorry if its a daft question.

Hitachi 1.51 CAN boot Wave 4 games so yes.

so i dont need the boot disc i hear ppl goin on about?
Where do i get the boot disc from?i think my brother will need one cos he got a liteon drive.

Here's the boot disc: -

No need to set a layer break. Just use ImgBurn to burn it and when it asks if you want to burn to the first layer only, say yes. You have to use a dual layer disc even though the image is small.

If you've got iXtreme 1.51 on your Hitachi drive then the game will boot without a boot disc. Your brother will need to have iXtreme 1.6 installed on his Lite-On to be able to use the boot disc.
