I was wondering if there is a iXtreme firmware that allows Lite-On users to play any games whatsoever, whether it be CoD MW 2 Wave 4 or L4D 2 Wave 5...I have a banned console, so it matters not to me, I don't want to use a activate.iso disc because I prefer not to waste a disc on it, and for the simple fact that I'm banned so it really doesn't matter about stealthing anyways.
Again, I have a LiteOn 74850c that's flashed to 1.6, wondering if there is a version of iXtreme for LO's that allows any Wave game to be played that is already out and/or future games.
Thanks.

Right now, the only FW for Lite-ON is 1.6 which doesn't support wave 4 and there is no FW for wave 5 support.

Douche of the day award. Happy Happy Joy Joy.
I'm not asking how to mod, how to get unbanned or anything of the sort ya j3333w, simply asking about firmwares. Off to pixie land for you. Search has been used, and found BenQ 1.4.1 fw, I don't have BenQ.
@cooldude, thanks man ;) so not even 1.4 would do it for me like the BenQ guy who has 1.4.1 huh just the activate.iso? phooey.

Unfortunately, no. There isn't a firmware for the Lite-On that will do that as far as I know.
Older firmwares for other drives, like the Samsung, have firmware versions that will do that, and even play Xbox 1 games on DVD single layer discs. By the time the Lite-On came around, though, the creator's focus changed from creating firmwares with the most features and more toward creating firmware that protected the user from unstealth games and more protection.
The good news is that the as-yet unreleased newest firmware version, called Lite Touch, is supposedly going to be low on the protection mechanisms. That might mean that Lite Touch will support this.
$38 on new discs -- Check
$15 on burn after burn that showed as a DVD -- Check
$11 on new laser -- Check
$28 on new multimeter -- Check

IF search was really used you would have found the answer to this in the thread right above yours.

Yes I've been looking into LT, at the same time I've been looking into just going to Walmart and buying the Arcade. Who the hell knows, maybe I'll just get a PS3 and Arcade 360 for X Mas, and spoof to BenQ if I get a LO. Thanks qwert.
and like I mentioned game, I used the search thread and found the "answer" to the BenQ 1.4.1 yes...I don't have a BenQ, obviously you aren't reading. Stop troll'ing pl0x.

So its version 1.4 for BenQ that would play Xbox 1 games on single layer disc and would play and wave of games?

Yes, but get v1.41 instead because that version also allows you to choose whatever drive speed you want; 2x, 5x, 8x, 12x. That way you can choose between a faster-loading, louder drive, or a slower-loading, more quiet drive.

Yeah. In a way, it is nice that so many people got banned because now there might be more development on the 360 as far as features go since there are 1million 360 owners out there that don't care to get banned any more.
I personally think the way MS detected everyone was by figuring out some way to create a bad response from the modified firmware and exploiting it in some way, probably with the newest dashboard update. In addition to that, there was the traditional method of banning, which was just catching people slipping by playing bad rips and unstealth games and stuff.
We will hopefully be able to stop speculating and know for sure (or as close to that as we can be) sooner rather than later.

There is not a firmware that can do that. But there is a program floating around here that you can change the wave of a game to whichever you desire. In doing so, it obviously would not be stealth but since you are banned it doesn't matter. You just wanna be able to play it. So for example, say you rip and game that's wave 4, before you put it on a disk, the program can change it to wave 3 and be compatible with your firmware.
