* 0x80020148 = unsupported PRX type
did the game ever run on your psp before? is it a very new game? what firmware are you using? are you using a M33 or sony np9660 driver or do you have it set to UMD in the XMB (VSH menu) found when pressing select at the home page before you start the game.

read the links and get yourself up to 5.50 GEN-D2 then, that's what you need for what you want. i kept the links short and simple.

I just had a problem like this and fixed it using this guide:
http://forums.pspslimhacks.com/tutorials...-w-screens.html
80020148 means unsupported prx = firmware issue.
Following that guide should patch the game to work with your specific CFW, enjoy!
I've only been here for like 3 minutes and have seen way too many 80020148 threads, can someone sticky a guide or something?

i was getting same error on cfw 5.03 MHU i uninstalled all cfw.(you can do this by running cfw enabler50 and selecting uninstall) loaded up chickHEN
reloaded cfw 5.03 for gen-A , pressed select to get vhs menue, selected recovery menu, went in under advanced, (gen-A menu is off by one so you have to select" option above advanced to get to advanced options "run program at" select advanced configuration under advanced menu, disabled option for execute eboot.bin in UMD/ISO, back option twice to get to first screen , select reset device to exit into cfw
and error no longer apeared and games ran perfect including 5.50 to 5.60 games patched with decrypter, i was still able to load back in CFW 5.03 MHU using cfw enabler60 with no problem . kernal is set to 1.5
i have a psp 3001 series so this should work for every one

A downloaded fist assassin's creed bloodlines (from pspisoz)it didn't work.
And i downlaoded yesterday the same game (from torrents)
and it workt:)

try on 5.50 gen-d2 works on mine from the first site you used

Because some games are already patched for a certain cfw before they are torrented and some aren't.
either patch the games or try 5.50 gen-d2.
