Does activate.iso work on any drive no matter what make?

Hey guys,

Just a quick question. Is activate.iso specific to each drive or will one activate work on any drive? I have a Hitachi drive with 1.51 Fw & a Lite On with 1.6 Fw. I have burnt activate.iso that comes with 1.6 LiteON Fw onto a DL layer Verbatim+R with IMGBurn, default settings&said yes to sway from the norm&when it said it would fit onto a normal disc did i want to continue, i said yes to!, But when i put it into my Hitachi drive the drive status just says "Open Tray". I cant test it on the LiteOn at the moment which is why im posting this post!! Thanks

It works with iXtreme 1.6 and 1.61 only, which is why when you tried to test it on the Hitachi, it wouldn't work as that's flashed with 1.51.
