to be honest depends who yer provider is, but all premium chans are now gone on all providers, except Chorus MMDS and this box dont work on Chorus MMDS.
Think Swords is Chorus MMDS??? If so ya may need a T variant box, such as Eurovox T or Digivox T or Tetleys T or Mr T he he,
if you on true cable NTHELL and MMDS NTHELL, this box will work, but you wont get prem chans on it

Does anyone have a list of channels that are still available on NTL MMDS. Are the basic channels still all available. is it just the sports and movies that are gone

All premium are gone, all Sky sports chans x 3, setanta 1, espn and espn america, racing UK, manu, liverpool, disney x 3 chans, Adult x 3
appprox 15 chans gone, the rest are still there

Thanks guys,
When I scanned I didn't see Manu or Liverpool on NTL MMDS. Also the adult channels are playboy and adult channel which ias two adult channels. This is in the Galway region. Is it possible you referring to NTL cable or is it the case that NTL MMDS offers more services in different areas.
On another technical matter I am trying to get the basic services using a Dreambox. Can you tell me what code is it for NTL MMDS. I think its N 5401 but haven't got this to work. Could someone possibly PM me with a link to an autoupdate/autoroll file so I can FTP it to my DM500-C.

NTL MMDS didnt carry the full compliment of chans that cable does, but they charged ya anone the less!!
NTL is 6887 and 54 01

Thanks for info. Do you know where I can find autoroll/autoupdate files for NTL. I'm using Evocamd 2.12 but my current autoroll/autoupdate files are giving no joy

Link is a bit confusing. It supplies hypercam files. Now these files are not related to dreambox (in particular dreambox 500-c). Maybe they are related to dbox2 but definitely not to dm500-c-s-c, or dm800-c-s-c. Would really appreciate the files autoupdate.key and autoroll.key for dm-500-c system
And for those uniformed MICKAH as already said Chorus MMDS is fine but NTL MMDS has already turned off premium channels (basic services still available)

hi lads, I've got 2 dm500s and they're gathering dust... Anyone interested in installing the images onto them for me, standard channels are all i need as the stupid ntl box doesn't output in true rgb so my reception is crap... Cheers, I'm in Dublin by the way!

don't understand the question. if you have ntl then you need a dm500c box to view standard channels. the two dm500s you have will not work on ntl. they are for satellite systems such as the standard sky dish installed in many houses
