its been a while so bear with me i downgraded a psp lte to3.71m33-2 but my mate wants a newer cfw does anyone have any recomedations and if so can i go from old straight to new thanks
go to 5.00m33 then, 5.00m33-6 you can stay there or go to 5.50 GEN-A ,-B,-B2,-D,-D2 where you can play all the new games without having to patch them, skip 5.50 GEN-C it tends to brick psp's not all of them but quite a few.
Your friend has a problem with the firmware then - I was on Gen D2 witrh no issues of playing UMD's or iso's.
The only reson I changed back was the speed of the games, 5.00M33-6 has a speed up on the memory stick and the cso files run much smoother, if they sort out the speed then I found no reson not to upgrade
