Thanks.

Using ver 4.2u, I have the original game I borrowed and used rawdump 2.0 to rip it down. File size checked out fine. Used image burn to copy it. Loads fine, but does the loop back to main menu...If I knew how to fix it I would....and then I could share the iso....willing to learn if anyone knows...

Here is what was posted by drivekey: 2009-11-26 >> NSMB fixed on DriveKey!
We have fixed the NSMB issue in DriveKey. The updated firmware will be in all chips shipping from Monday 30th November. We will also be providing an update for existing DriveKey owners, which will be released as soon as the JTAG programmer is ready. In the near future we will also publish a standard for appending BCA data at the end of the ISO image, so that any new game with this new protection will work without any update of the chip. The actual game ISO will remain unmodified.

If anyone knows what those of us with a drivekey already installed need to do, please post the directions or alink to where they are posted...thanks...

i'm thinking if they do not offer this as a dvd upgrade most of us will be buying new chips. a jtag to usb adaptar cable cost twice as much as a new drivekey. is if the update is via jtag only afraid we will be out of luck.

i have just learned that this will be a jtag update. the phrase is a little confusing it says update with be available as soon as the jtag programmers are ready, they are planning to sell us a programmer to update our drivekey. which coming from china i'm sure it will be cheap enough, my problem with it is i'm sure it will take the usual 4 weeks to get to the usa.
