Guys i have o modded xbox360 and i dont know tis ixtreme version but it cant play wave3 and 4 games only wave 1 and 2. tomorrow its the xboxlive update and i want to know if i can continue playing pirated games that i download and dont get banned(will i be banned when i do the update?)

i have been playing pirated games for 3 months and i haven't been banned but i am afraid if microsoft with the new update scan your xbox to find if it is modded
edit: after the update i will only play original games like halo 3 and halo 3 odst that i bought from a store

yeah i only play backups been playin for a year every game before release date and nothin. still not banned. i doubt they can detect fw. i think they can detect ppl downloading shitty copies off rapidshare and megaupload lol.

That is because the ban is random. I have a few boxes I have been playing all week with no ban.

If I was you I'd consider yourself lucky not to have been banned already and stay offline until iXtreme Lite Touch is released.
BTW, according to Major Nelson's Twitter page, there is no dashboard update tomorrow. The new features will just appear in the current dashboard once they're switched on server side.

yeah this may be true cause if u remember correctly everyone got an update awhile back that was preparing for this new "update" dunno tho im not an expert lol

If you picked up the update on Oct. 28th I'm thinking it's too late already, I went back to original, wiped everything and still got the boot. If you don't have the update yet feel free to give it a go and let me know how it goes. I think the general consensus is just to wait it out until there is more info/LT. Main question is how much do you value XLive and are you willing to replace the console?

Yeah just got on Live today, been offline for about two weeks. Not banned yet, went to get Dragon Age: Origins DLC... still not banned. BenQ drive with iXtreme 1.61... *whew* =)
