i got banned last week and am going to buy a new one on friday. im just going to buy a basic package so no new hardrive.
is it safe for me to keep switching my hardrive between banned and unbanned console.
if this is safe will i stay have to abgx my games for the banned console or does it not matter anymore. will the hardrive with the profile record the achivments and thats it?

This answer is littered throughout the numerous threads on the front page of THIS forum. If you can't find it, you'll find the answer when you stick the HDD from the banned xbox onto the new xbox.

once you start playing and saving on the banned console, your gamertag will show up as corrupt when you put the hdd on the new, unbanned xbox.

ok sorry, i didnt search properly, well didnt know what to search but while im here i may aswell ask something else, if i buy another hardrive so both my consoles have one and then recover the profile to a mem unit to swith between the two, is that going to be okay?

I was under the impression that gamertags dont get banned or corrupt?

they don't, the xbox itself can get banned and so can the gamer tag. you can switch hard drives at any time. Don't post info if you haven't seen the other 5 saying the exact opposite as you fox
