According to Major Nelson, Xbox Live hit a record last week, with 2 million concurrent users on at one time, thanks mainly to the blockbuster that is Modern Warfare 2.
Says Major Nelson's Tweet: "We just hit a new #XboxLIVE record: Over TWO MILLION people connected to the service at once."

No wonder no one was on Halo last night :D. I won't get this game for a while though, I would be playing it too much if it did. It would distract me from more important things I got to do like studying for college exams, these games are way too addicting once you play it.

Where are those morons who claim piracy hurts developers and how modders are ruining everything? This is proof that if you put out a good game, or give a mediocre game HUGE hype that it will sell.

Sadly it will Not Shatter the PC records. no dedicated servers i don't wish to know the crack they where on.

The only way that piracy can lead to lower sales is when companies start using DRM, thus scaring away honest customers. They know piracy helps sales across the board, but they will keep fighting piracy so long as people make terrible software, movies, and music...then claim that their low sales are due to piracy.
