Hi Guys, i am totally new to the whole PSP Custom FW scene.
I had my Old PSP Fat leying around, so i thought why not try it.
I got the Pandora Tool, and downloaded a Newbie easy installer (reccomended on this site).
Used them and fantatstic..it worked.
I go to system settings to check the FW and it shows as 3.52 M33.
I formatted the Mem Card, copied the game iso's over to the ISO folder. Tried running the games, some make the screaan go blank, others Say "game cannot be played error: xxxxxxx (various codes)"
1. Have i dont something wrong?
2. Maybe i need to upgrade to the latest FW?
3. how do i find out what version FW i am on?
4. If i need to DL the custom FW, where can i dl it from (a trusted source).
5. How would i install it?
hi every one.ive installed the 5.03 and chickhen which seems to be working fine,how ever when i try upgrading the firmware using the flash in the recovery folder it loads up and all that but when i tell it to do it i get an error opening 500.pbp
ive treid downloading various 500.pbps but none seem to work
im using a psp 1000
any ideas anyone

I did a lot of research and now I'm just looking for a trusted cfw link. what is the fw you used and worked fine ? can you put the link here so I can use it too. thanks

I used a Pandora Battery, didnt cost much. I will upload it and forward you a link to download it.
