can anyone tell me why the wii remote loses sync with the wii when i load a back up? i am using neogamma and most other back ups work.

this has to do with an internal wii problem. Since you are running a backup most of the power from the wii is distributed to the lens to read the back up. The wii works harder and hence some backup power for the wii sync to the reader becomes figid. Your wii could be over heating in the long run if nothing is done. I suggest opening it up and cleaning it out and if you want to take it further put thermal paste an attach an extra fan.
