I beleive this to work but haven't tested it yet. I have 2 xboxs one modded/banned and another unbanned/unmodded. If I store just my gamertag on a memory card and play offline in the modded/banned console to unlock achievements then transfer the memory card to the unmodded console to update on xbox live should I be fine and not get the new unmodded xbox banned? The banned console is only banned from xbox live.

you cant get gamerscore that way and all it will do is corrupt the gamertag when you put it in the unbanned console. it changes the way it is read so that only your banned system can read from it.

slightly related.. but if i mod another new 360 arcade system and keep it OFFLINE, will I be able to move my hard drive back and forth?

I believe the 360 arcade unit is pre-nxe if that matters. I guess the hard drive will update the system once I load my profile on it.

Yes, guyver. As long as both systems are unbanned, there would be no problem.

It's so much work. Don't you think it'd be easier to just get a used xbox, mod it, and never hook it up online???

Dang it...you're right. And with a banned console you can't buy that 1337 avatar clothing with real money any more, either! Oh noes.

Yes they are. I do like getting achievements when playing a game. However, I don't really care if they follow me around after I have played it.
