I don't have a PS3, but I go to a mate's place, and was always disappointed I couldn't have subs with the AVI files...He said the PS3 didn't support them for AVI(divx/xvid), and I took his word, didn't do any research!

Well, now you can pick any .avi file you have, maybe a movie of you and your friend, and you can add some subs to it. Try different sizes and colours and take in a usb key to your friends house and surprise him with your findings.
Maybe he doesn't know also :-)
The software is really easy to use.
