Hi guys, I was wondering, is it possible to share a gamertag between 2 consoles?
My console recently got banned, so what I was thinking of doing was keeping the banned console to play games offline, and buying an Arcade console to play original games online. Is it possible to do this and share a gamertag?
For example, could I play an Arkham Asylum backup on my banned console, then take the hard drive off, put it on my unmodded 360 and play MW2 online with the same gamertag?
Is this possible?

ah ok. Would I need a new hard drive as if I put my old hard drive on an unbanned console it corrupts the gamertag doesnt it?

Anytime you move your profile to the banned console it will become corrupted. You don't need a new HD - you need a new unmodded or unbanned xbox. There's a tutorial on here that shows you how to get around it, but it is a big hassle, and it takes time (and you have to do it every time you want to move your achivements, you have to do this process all over again). I personally don't think it's worth it. If you want acheivements, buy the real game or mod another used xbox, which never will touch the internet.

I'm having the same issue and just wanted to get some things straight. I got banned, put my hd on my other xbox went to log in and it said it was corrupted but works on the banned console. Now if I want to get back online, I have to create a new gt and pay for a new subscription to live?

no if you want to use the corrupt GT on the unbanned system you must delete it but not the items when it asks then go to recover GT and do that and it will work on the unbanned console. but if you move the HDD with that GT back to the banned unit it will corrupt again and you will have to repeat the process to use it on the unbanned console again
If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

I have a modded xbox360. I have been playing off line cause when i do sign in i will get banned. Now my 360 has a red lite and says error 74. I can still send it back to get fixed but is that a good idea. Its still under warranty. Will they be able to see that its modded or can any trouble come out of it.

if your warranty sticker is intact and there are no signs of you opening the console then you should be alright. worst that happens is they send it back to you but they dont check the drive to see if its modded before sending a replacement. that would require them to do more than verify your problem before shipping the replacement

Ok, I understand. What about if I completely deleted my gamertag from the Hard Drive and signed up a new one. Would I be able to transfer the hard drive between a new console and the banned one with a new gamertag, or would it still corrupt it?

As soon as you use a GT on a modded console with the new updates that GT will be seen as corrupt on any other XBOX.

Here's how I did it. You won't get achievements but at least you'll have all your saves.
1)If your GT is corrupted, delete it then recover
2)Now that you can use your profile in the unmodded system, go into memory settings and move the game saves you want on your modded system from HD to MU
3)Go into gamer profiles and move the profile you want to the MU
4)Remove MU and restart xbox
5)Recover GT again
6)Put MU in modded system and enjoy.
