I have a question for you experts out there about being able to play this game at more than 720p. Basically, why can't I run the game at any resolution higher than 720p?
I've read about the game actually being 600p or something and then its upscaled but i dont really mind that. My tv goes up to 1080i but MW2 only plays at 720p and i noticed on my friend's tv it only plays at 720p as well even though HIS tv is a full 1080p 52 inch...
i've also read about checking off the other display resolutions to sort of "force" it to play at 1080 but some people said that messes up their other games or whatnot so what issues if any have you guys noticed regarding this problem? will "forcing" it mess up other games? should i just let do what it do and not potentially break my 3?
also while im at it, does anyone enable the "Full Color Range" option on their ps3? mine is disabled and i wanna know what the benefit is to enabling it or would that somehow hurt the tv. im very weary of messing with things i don't know alot about...sorry for the long post but any info is appreciated
ok, i had this problem with cod4, didnt know it happed in cod6 aswell, first i can make sure ur max output is set to 1080i, if it is and still only works at 720, go to setup display, but pick custom not automatic, and check 480i, and 1080i, this will pretty much force cod6 to go to 1080i
It wont mess up other games and it wont break your PS3 dont worry. It will just display other games at 480i since you have 720p disabled. Its just a hassel to change it back and forth might as well keep it at 720p. There isnt that much difference between 720p and 1080i in COD. You cant even tell really.
