Quick spoofing question/confirmation

I have flashed quite a few drives but never have spoofed a drive in such manner as using a samsung as a benq etc, so i just need a quick confirmation on the process i have been searching for a few hours now and after many tuts and forum posts giving several methods.

I'll be using jungle flasher for this whole process.

spoofing benq as a samsung

1)Get samsung in vendor mode and read firmware.
2)Get benq in vendor mode load the samsungs firmware as source firmware.
3)Load ixtreme for benq and then cick spoof
4)Then go over to the drive tab and click write

Just wanting to make sure this process is correct befor i brick or mess up a drive.

(also if this will get you banned or not im not concerned with im an offline gamer)

Yes that is correct. As well spoofing a drive can get you banned.

Thanks for the heads up but im aware spoofing drives can get you banned atm it seems blowing on the drive will get you banned maybe even looking at it the wrong way?

But thanks for the confirmation on spoofing just need to figure what drive i wanna use now.
