Need help burning 360 game. (well read newbie)

I'm new to this, but I've read a lot. Finally, I decided to ask for advice.

I'm using imageburn, and have successfully burned Star Wars: republic heroes, and COD-WAW. I tried to burn Left 4 dead 2, and Assassins creed today and I get "play dvd" when the xbox reads it.

Using iextreme 1.6
Use .dvd file, layer break is correct.

Only problem that I am having is with with IMGburn booktype. It will not change over to dvd-rom.(although this didn't matter with my 2 successful burns) (invalid command operation code)

It will not allow me to change it. My drive is an Optiarc DVD AD-7563A WX-05 ( i can't find any firmware updates for it).

I'm using Verbatims DVD+DL.

If the best way to do this is to just get a new external, could someone tell me the least expensive one and vouch for it?

You need to use the wave 4 boot disc!!!

Thank you so much. That immediately fixed Left 4 Dead. I'll have to reburn and try assassins creed2 now. I will post here the results.
