I don't know about those fans... I had my xbox modded for me. I understand HOW to do things like this.... very well, actually, but I just don't trust my shakey hands. lol
But, if you're looking for an EXTERNAL solution (everyone ELSE read what version I'm speaking of before flaming me about it making things even worse) I've been using the Nyko Intercooler TS, and I can definitely feel a differemce when I touch my xbox after it's been on.
It's temperature sensitive, so it kicks on about 60 seconds after you turn your xbox on and turns off about 60 seconds after you turn it OFF (which, imo, is a good idea, so heat wont be trapped inside after turning it off.
Most importantly, it uses it's own power supply that plugs into an outlet, so it won't take the xbox's juice like the old ones, which caused a large number of horrible problems.
The ONLY complaint I have about it.... It's pretty loud. Not as loud as the original Nyko Intercoolers, thank god. But I just wanted to inform you. Personally I don't even care about the increased noise. Just turn up the tv or surround system! lol
install games to the hard drive to help the overheating and these fans will help stop it or do the 12v fan mod that should help as well. Apply artic silver to the cpu and gpu to also cut down on overheating. Lol if you still want more try and tape the fan shroud thing to the heatshink so all the air that is trying to be sucked out gets out and doesnt stay in the xbox.
