Hello all,
Hope you can help. When I do the connection test, my xbox cant even access the network, let alone anything else.
I originally had my xbox working on xbox live, and it was so easy. All I did was automatically assign everything and BAM, xbox live!
But recently my wireless router has been security enabled, which means entering in a key (Of which I have) to access the internet. Would this be the reason its not working?
Because if it is, and im sure im just being thick, I can find anywhere for me to enter this key. The only options I have is the automatic assign ip and DHCP, and then the advanced settings, pppoe, etc of which i have no clue. Nothing about wireless key or anything...
Can one of you please help, i have completed the main game of COD modern warfare 2 and am desperate to get some online action!

Go into Network Setting -> Edit Options -> Go Down to Wireless Mode, press A
-> Select the correct wireless network, Press A . It should prompt you for a WEP or WPA.
That should work, if not try updating the firmware on the linksys.

Your are connected wirelessly? Then input the security setting on the xbox adapter. You can turn off security to prove that is what it is.

I go into network settings and all that is there is
config network
test xbox live connection
test pc connection
test windows media centre
nothing about edit options or wireless.
If i click on config network, all i have in there is the basic options or additional settings which is the pppoe, mac address etc...
my xbox layout and pages sound diff to yours...

Sounds like its not even detecting the wireless adapter. Usually in the wireless mode pops up once the adpater is connected.
