hi guys, not been on fora while,still receive emails updates,

Question.
just downloaded new super mario bros for the wii,
wants me to update - with a warnming that if wii is modded will brick it..

is this right? or can i update with chip in -




I know soft modding has moved on but a lot of the time its quicker to fit a chip..

Everyone knows the answer. If you looked around you'd see that it's been answered several times in the last week. I answered it at least once myself.

it does not say it will brick it if its modded it says it may disable some of the functions. updates have nothing to do with a modchip. the new update will reneder the modkeys region free function. so if you take the update your region free play will be gone.

thx for reply, if the region free goes can i still play backups from uk /eu discs?

or is the mod chip rendered useless?
