Hi All,
I havent owned a PSP for about two years!
So if i buy a Slim, do all Slim's allow Pandora and CFW?
Are there any firmware versions or models that do not allow CFW / Pandora???
(Dont worry, im not buying a Go!)
Thanks for any replies...

not all slim are fully hackable. try getting the earlier slim. google search the slim that are fully hackable. or maybe this site have a sticky thread.

Either a used 2000 or a new 1000 - that's your best bet for hacking

Any 1000 is fine
Slim - it must be at least 18 months old to be sure, if its still on original firmware then 3.95 = OK, 4.01 = Maybe, 4.05 = No Way
You can still run the chickhen exploit up to 5.03, after that nothing can be done.

presonally i would just buy that phat, slims are alot more fadgil. one drop and you can do some serious damage. plus that phat is alot easier to mod.

To mod - they are exactly the same, apart from later slim ones cannot be fully hacked. I prefer the slim as it has a TV out function and it is lighter to use

There is a letter on the serial number label (under the battery)I believe that 8C is the cut off (if its 8D or 9A etc cannot be hacked)
I would google first to find the actual code

The 2000 Series Date Codes go as follows:
7C: Hackable.
7D: Hackable.
7(Any later Letter): Hackable.
8A: Hackable.
8B: Hackable.
8C: Has Very High Chance that it is Unhackable.
8D: Unhackable.
Anything higher - unhackable
