hi,
i have a modded xbox 360 which i recently updated to get the new dashboard and other stuff, i have been playing old back-up games and wanted to go ahead and play new games such as COD-MW2, i got an active.iso disk and followed instuctions as per other threads and when i put the .iso disk in the "play dvd" comes up, then when i insert the game it says the same thing, i checked on abgx360 and it has the stealth files and the disk is good but i cant seem to make it work, now i have the same problem with my other new game (fifa 10, pro evo 10, marvel U A2)
i dont know what my firmware is and i dont know how to find out, the guy who modded it for me has vanished.
I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO!!!

when was it modded?
do you use live, if not you could patch it using this

EDIT:the reason i ask when it was modded is because this could help determin witch firmware you have.
Ixtreme 1.51 was released around 07-03-2009 (2009-03-07 if you're american)
Ixtreme 1.6 was released around 19-05-2009 (2009-05-19 if you're american)
The activate.iso will only work on 1.6.
Also fifa 10 is a wave 3 game if you're having trouble booting that you might have 1.5 firmware or lower.
If this is the case you have 3 options
1:update your firmware to 1.61 not available for lite-on drives
2:wait for Ixtreme LT
3:patch the iso to wave 2 using the link above.

I think you may be using it incorrectly.
When it says play dvd on teh activate.iso you play it, then you swap it or something and it should work.
Do a forum search though as im sure there is loads of tutorials.

I don't think he can use it due to not being on 1.6, he claims fifa 10 doesn't work either and that is wave 3

Ah yeh, I see your edit now.

ive seen the tutorials and even checked on youtube how to do it, thats not the issue, i'll try this patcher thing,
btw when it says change the .iso file, is that the game disk your on about?

whats not the issue?
the .iso file is the image before it's burnt onto disk.

Might be 1.4 then
