cant upgrade to 250GB with cheap name brand HDD?

Just wanted to know if is there a way that I can upgrade my 20GB to 250GB but with a cheaper HDD, Western Digital Scorpio WD2500BEVS 250 GB are $50+. I may sound cheap but I just dont have the $$$ right now and dont want to wait lol.

There are other HDDs that are supported but believe they are all WD
