I downloaded a sample clip of the WMV HD format and it sure is impressive. The reason I was looking into this was because I have a 57" widescreen HD TV at home and it supports 1080i.

Current DVDs are not HD and I want to use my TV to its full potential.

With that said, how do I get a WMV HD movie on my PC (via file and/or disc) to play on the bigscreen? Microsoft suggests that the PC be hooked up to the TV, but is quite vague about it. Suppose I have an ATI card with s-video out. What software is needed? Just the windows media player? How do i set up the options so i can get 1080i to display on the tv? Will it be a big difference if I have an all-in-wonder?

If someone could fill in the gaps, I would much appreciate it.
