bricked wii, cant load preloader

I have softmodded my wii and have preloader installed. one day when i turned on my wii and preloader menu popped up i chose system menu to go into wii and a garbled system files have been corrupted message popped up. i think i fucked up my bootmii on my sd card because i went into settings and changed something ANd now my wii wont load preloader and the controllers wont turn on when wii is on. all i have is a blank screen. please help!!! i have preloader 29 or 30. thank you

It is quite unclear to me, can you get into Preloader when holding down the reset button or not?

I can not. all it does is keep a blank screen. if i turn the wii completely off then back on it is still just a blank screen. the disk drive acts like it is trying to load a disk and will blink blue when no disk is in it. i am going to try the gamecube controller trick tonight if i can get my hands on one

i remember i had t hold down all three buttons from right to left i think to load my preloader. ( eject,reset,power)

are you sure that worked? preloader usually just pops up. i never had to hold down any special buttons to make it work. just one day it didnt work

yes and still nothing happens. wii at different house cvant try the three button idea till tomorrow.

yes thats the only way I could get it to work I found that way on a diff forum and it worked. but now I dont use preloader I updated and it went away so I just use bootmii now

Try taking the Bootmii folder off the SD card (back it up to your PC).
Now try booting Preloader. All you should have to do is hold down reset while turning on the system to boot into Preloader.
If you did something in Bootmii then it is possible the system is hanging in Bootmii not letting it continue to Preloader. So getting rid of the Bootmii folder should let you go directly to Preloader menu by holding down the reset button.

i deleted boot mii off my sd card, and the same thing happened with the blank screen. but i did the three button trick and it worked first try. preloader popped up. I chose wii system menu and it popped up with the semi - bricked system files corrupt screen. i went into settings on preloader and the IOS was set to 15. i changed it to 36 and the problem was solved. thanks for all your help.

hi, perhaps you could help me, i installed ios-61_shop_mii and it fully bricked my wii, i get nothing when i switched it on, i have preloader on my wii, i tried the three button thing and it didn't work. anyone ? any ideas ?

hey..when i press all 3 buttons together my wii turns off again..
suppose-just after switching on my wii,i press and hold these 3 buttons and my wii switches off again..
my wii got bricked as-
i have menu 4.2u .. i had everyhing-hbc and many applications...all games were working well..but from when i installed preloader i got this system files are corrupted..
and one day i uninstalled ios 249..then when i restarted my wii i found this black screen..from then i cant load anything.. i havnt uninstalled the preloader but when i press restart nothing happens..HELP!

Did you softmod your wii, then update the system menu?
when you installed preloader, did you go into settings and make sure ios 36 was selected?
why did you uninstall ios249?

jewbare its a very long story..hope you understand-
one day when i installed preloader,i could not run system menu through it..it came "system files are corrupted"..then i installed a system menu from "any region changer" and many errors also came..from then instead of "system files are corrupted" a black screen came but the preloader was still there..then i thought of installing a system menu from wad manager so that it removes my black screen as well as preloader..i wasnt able to install the system menu as an error came(-1035)..when i checked on the internet about this error,i found that i had to delete ios 249..so i did that and my wii hanged at that time..when i restarted my wii-a black screen came..no preloader..
HELP!

sorry sounds like your SOL. when that system files corrupted image pops up, you need to make sure ios 36 is selected in preloader. do this by entering preloader and choosing settings.
Have you tried the gamecube controller trick?

you just said it u hold them down in that order till it starts up and it should start up with preloader.
