NTHell box (long story b prepared lol)

when i lived in scotland i used a starview box on my cable tv connection. On my broadband connection i fitted a splitter and with a spare length of cable connected my nthell box in the bedroom and all was good. I was paying for the XL package before i got the starview box and kept the XL package goin as it came through to the nthell box in the bedroom.
After movin to Belfast i got reconnected to virgin only this time I got the V+ box. Again I splitt the broadband cable and reconnected the nthell box that i brought with me in the bedroom. Again I am payin for the XL package. The problem is the nthell box in the bedroom is only showing channels 1 to 5 and the odd other channel and not the XL package channels. Is there something I need to do to re-set the box for Belfast or anything else someone can recommend to help me as it is in my sons room and he is doin my nut in as he can't get his kiddy channels lol.

Sounds like you need to rescan on the correct symbol rate or just a plain rescan.

Can i just make sure??? Its the nthell box i'm talking about and not the Starview. If you already know this and your advise is right how do I scan the nthell box.

i would check your cabling that you done to make sure its ok and correct, have you connnected the box to a direct feed? You may need a new box from them if you brought the box from scotland as this box may not be suitable to use in belfast
