Sup guys, I've got Assassins Creed II and the first time I played, no problems. I put the game into Mshit Xbox 360 and it says Play and you see the game image. Nice! I played like 3hours and turned off the Xbox. Hmm 2hours later I want to play a litle bit so I turn on the console and now, the xbox recognize the game as a DVD and it says ''Play DVD'' wtf?? If I click on it, I get a nice screen Xbox 360 :) Nothing more. The game was into the xbox all the time, no swap, no scratches, no dust or finger crap. For sure I cleaned the cd and tried again, no success :(
Weird uh?

Could be a bad burn...experienced something similar to this, reburned, and I've been fine.

I've seen it posted time and time again that burning at slower speeds is mostly a myth these days because of how fast computers have become and how burners have drastically improved over the years. According to the pros on this forum, burning at the disc's rated speed seems to be the most recommended option...but they will also add that it is subject to your computer specifications which basically means, "Hey, whatever works for you."

Hmm.. I used ImgBurn and made a .iso. Now I use abgx to see if game is ok, it makes the .dvd file and everything seems ok. Waiting for the tests to complete.

I doubt that will help if you're ripping the same game that didn't work.

i recently burned left 4 dead 2 and had the same dvd problem. im assuming you have the latest ixtreme firmware, there is an activation.iso going around that you put in the drive for about 15 seconds until the dvd loads, then take it out and put in assassins creed. its a way to get past the wave4 security
