Strange DriveKey Problem

I installed a Drivekey a few days, and all went well with the installation. I have some backups of my games, burnt at 4x speed onto Verbatim DVD-R discs. All of these backups worked fine for a day or two, then all of a sudden things went wrong.

Every time I put a backup disc in now I get a black error screen. My originals all work fine, and I can get to the DriveKey config screen. I have not updated my Wii since I installed the DriveKey (it was already at 4.2E), and my backups are all PAL. I have even opened the Wii to check connections, and everything is fine. The only thing that has happened that may be new to my Wii is a new Rabbids Channel that was installed from the game (my backup version if that matters). As far as I know this shouldn't cause any trouble though, although I have deleted it and it made no difference.

Am I right in thinking that I have a faulty DriveKey, or could there be something else that is causing these problems?
