Can i softmod my wii with zelda

hi can onyone help i already have a hardmoded wii and would now like to softmod it too so i can play new super mario and was wondering which was the best way of going about this.
i don't have an orginal copy of zelda only a back up would this do???????? or is there a way of doing this without zelda ohh forgot to say i am running old firmware which should be a problem

what are your specs? and post the wii model number as well.

it's running am orginal wiikey latest firmware and the wii is the first model out got it first week of release in the uk
