Wii Soft Mod Trouble?

I need advice. I recently soft modded my wii. THe main reason being for back ups. I have everything already on homebrew and working great. However I have used wii dumper to dump 6 differnt games and then burned them to a DVD all with success on the pc and WUM checker. But when i go to play them i get a error when trying to load up in backup launcher v.3. so i tried a torrent for Twilight princess burned it and it worked. I ahve tried several different dvd-r's and have noticed none of the backed up games are 4.7 the all seem to be around 1.5 -2 gb. So i though maybe i am doing something wrong or am missing a step. just looking for guidance.
