i just bought a star view box 1, and i have reset the box and done a automatic scan i got 186 channels, but none of them seem to display anything.
i have put the emu on from the secret menu but i still get nothing
my system info is
API VER: 2.57e_E
Boot ver: 7.0
16.aug. 2006
If anyone can help i will highly appreciate it

go to defualt key and press it and exit all the way out to a chan, make sure your scart is pushed all the way in on the TV and box

it just says dada is being updated and just freezes at 10% or goes past a 100%

Did ya check to see if this was a clone box? you will need to load the clonesafe firmware to it,

you need the CryptStar-v1.5.zip in the above link, the firmware you have on the box is old and wont update
or just download BIGMAQ from google and get the current quays and input them

i put it on sky sport1 and it is not going further then 100% it has just stopped there and blinks after a bit

which two files do put on the star view box i found gtrom v4.00 but i cant get the other file can you please help, and do i have to have the box conected to the tv aswell as the pc when updating?

Don't know if I'm doing this right as not had to post before.
Have had a Box for some time, occasionally updating it if we wanted to watch something on the other channels, but mostly using it to get the terrestrial channels to other rooms.
Just recently it started losing terrestrial channels one by one, were down to 1, 3 and 4 for a while, then down to 4, now down to nothing, all blue screen. I tried a factory reset with no luck (didn't think it would work for that anyway!!) Now when I update the keys (as on the TCB.cc info bar) it still shows as updating.
Can someone please help me on this, I am lost as to what to do next.
