Drive modchip Key bypassing

Here's my problem, I have an xbox 360 that I do not have the drive key for, nor do I have the drive. I was wondering if I buy one of these chips and a new drive, could I install the chip on the drive and then have it work with the 360?

The chip I'm looking at specifically is the Globe360 modchip.

Also, I was looking at something called infectus 2. Can that retrieve the key from the mobo?

No, buy a new xbox. There is one modchip and it's still hard to pull the key.

Well okay I understand pulling the key is still difficult.

But how about the Globe360 chip? What does it mean by key bypassing?
