I turn my xbox on and it was playing the game video preview so after 5min or so it freeze and the screen was looking bad and the tittle of the game was looking bad with squares around it and the squares had color, after that i got 3 red lights then after 5mins or so it was fine, what can it be? how can I fix this, if I dont it keeps happening.
sounds like e-74. i never did manage to fix this problem with my xbox so i cannot help you. this is a legit red ring though not just a overheat problem
I fix it, i put pressure on the ANA chip, idk if thats how is called, the chip near the fan, and it didnt have any pressure on the 4 chips under too so I put some there too so I did and i put it on for like 30min and didnt see any problem.

That'll work for a short time, but eventually the console is going to be shot. You're actually doing more harm than good with your current fix it sounds like.
if its under warranty, take it back...if not....do a rrod fix on it and replace the x clamps....the freezing is most likely ur GPU and related to overheat/rrod. The fact you saw RROD before it went fine again means that there is something losing contact. I'm pretty sure a nice overheat (fan only on cpu heatsink) will fix it nicely.
I just finished fixing 2 rrods for myself since my other 360 got banned....one of them was freezing within 5 min of turning it on. WHen I opened it up I saw it already had xclamps replaced....however it wasnt a good job. I redid it, overheated....updated the dash....havent had a problem with it yet....ive even left it on all night and while I was at work to see if it would freeze....nothing....last night I even played on it for 2 hours ( only got GH3 and GHWT that are retail copies right now lol) and still no freezing.
before I did it I was lucky to get it to a game title screen....
I have fix rrod too but this one was my 1st that freeze, most of the time i use the same x clamp i found it better unless it really need a lot pressure, i did push the gpu and the graphic change a lot so maybe was that, ill do what you did lol, leave it on a long time lol and see what happens. well the xbox is an 06 so maybe still under the 3year warranty. how can i make it get 3 red lights? if it still freeze ill send it back if i can, ill bet they will send a new one
