I'd venture a pretty certain guess that you need a 3D source.

1.) If you look closely, dog and his wife are not wearing 3D glasses; they are at the same convention, but they are not looking at the 3D monitors.
2.) This is just a novelty. One day 3D TV/movies/games might take off, but when they do, you won't need glasses, and this screen will be long obsolite. Other companies have already shown off "Full 3D HD" displays...it is downright pathetic that they would market this as a "Full HD 3D" display! That's like trying to compete against a 300HP car by selling a car with 030HP!
3.) LG NEEDS TO LEARN ABOUT VESA...you can't connect most of their screens to a wallmount, or even a sturdy desk mount. The only option is their own cheap stand, and it is clearly designed to sell displays by tipping over and breaking the old displays. If they can't even get a stand right after 20+ generations of LCDs, I imagine the first shipment of these units will be full of bugs.

I saw the Coraline 3D blu ray. Loved the feel of it. It only required 2 Tylenol.
