Hi Guys, I cant find answer to this, I have a PSP with m4.01 m33-2 firmware brought from ebay.
When I connect to PC XP home, I see following
ISO
Movie
Music
etc etc folders 8 gb memory card I drag and drop games into ISO folder
Music into music movies into music etc.

My nethew also has PSP with 4gb memory card same firmware m4.01 m33-2
When he connects his PSP to windows XP home (same PC) he dont see any folders just blank disk.
When I put his memory stick into my PSP we see the same folders as with mine
ISO
Movies
Music etc.

Can anyone explain why? Is there something we need to do on the firmware to let the PC show the folders so he can drag and drop games into the ISO folder and music into music movies into movies etc?

I have kinda of dismissed dodge cable as its the same cable, and PC that connects to the two PSP's

Any takers? sorry if this has been answered but I dont know what to search for in the forums to try and find the help.

Also do we need to upgrade firmware if so how please? Although I could probably search through the firmware upgrades, is there a best one to get ?
Thanks in advance

Tried that wont transfer anything. When I put it in my psp transfers ok.
Is there something not set in a hidden menu somewhere I cant remeber how I changed the firmware, but I know I got a hidden screen and changed something to start the firmware change going.

no ive never heard of a setting to "hide" files when usb is connected...

sounds like a problem with his memory card why not just get a new one ?? also make sure it is genuine card magic gate supported and whatnot... have to order from a major retailer such as amazon, newegg, etc... not some cheap chinese knockoff which 90% of the other stores sell

You obviously not read the full thread as the card works fine in my psp and not my nethews?
All folders are displayed and able to transfer games etc in relevant folders.
The game I transfered plays fine on his psp.
