the usb loader keeps saying that it cant find the usb device. I tried switching the slots but that didnt work.
and yes I did format it to FAT32 and then used the WBFS thing to format it from there as well.
I even put up some games in it and put them on my usb stick.
but idk why my usb loader keeps saying it cant find my device.
Im using a attache 512mb usb stick, if that helps.
also do I have to be on the latest CIOS for it to work?
and last this is off topic but my usb loader GX channel got erased, and now I can only go to it from the hombrew channel and my SD card, I dont know how to put it back up because I did this a loooong time ago and erased the installer off my sd card, so I forgot.
thanks for anyhelp in advance.

A 512MB thumb drive should've been formatted to FAT file system. As for the USB Loader Gx channel, you get get it here. Install it using WAD Manager.

No worries. FAT 32 is used for larger HDD beginning from 4GB to 2TB.

I just formatted it back to FAT, then formated it from the WBFS manager, put a game on it, then went and tried it, im still getting the same thing, cannot find "usb device" man I dont know what else to do now.
however I did install the usb loader channel, even though its kinda useless now since it wont work.
thanks for trying to help anyway though. do you have any other suggestions?

Are you trying to load a game using the 512MB flash drive? It didn't dawn me until now. I thought you were using it to load apps via the HBC. Use a USB HDD or a bigger flash drive...

I'm basically saying it is not even big enough for one game. WBFS Manager will tell you how big the file is. If you have an iPod that you are no longer using, you can use that.

yes, new super mario, fit on it. it even game add completed or whatever that message is you get.
if it couldent fit, wouldent WBFS manager say that there is not enough room on the device?
edit:
and thats not even the problem, shouldent it detect my usb drive anyway?
thats all I really want to know, why its not detecting my usb stick.

You are right. NSMB is only 357MB. Maybe, your flash drive is just incompatible altogether. Also, isn't there an option in USB Loader to load from the USB device? You can use Neogamma 7 or 8. You don't have to use WBFS Manager to transfer the ISO to the flash drive.
