My Console was banned a month or so ago, and as I didnt have many acheivements and no DLC, I thought I would just sign up a new Gamertag...my question is, I plan to buy a new 360 and not mod it, is there any way of getting my offline gamertag from my banned console onto my new unmodded 360, and then use it to sign up to Xbox live?
assuming your current gamertag is a 'unique' one, not something like 'john' 'bob' then just take your current hard drive or memory card, and use it on your new console and sign up for live. however, if you are not using a unique gamertag, then you will probably have to make one up.

no problem. and i think the only way to change your GT is to already be on live and then you have to pay 800 MS points to do it. so if you have a generic one, you might be SOL.

I believe it is free to change your gamertag if it is already taken when you first sign up to live. When I got xbox live my gamertag was already taken, it just asks you to rename it.
you will keep getting corrupted profiles more than likely. if you want to do that, you should look into the 'uncrippling method.' this way you can swap back and forth.
