wii 4.2 softmodded - PRELOADER .30 problem

Why is it everytime I nstall preloader on a 4.2u wii It removes the system menu???

And every time im always left with a message that says
error autobooting system menu.. blah blah blah

and the only way I can fix it is by installing system menu 4.2 unpatched.wad
