How can I completely remove all my personal data on my ps3 before selling it? Should I call the manufacturer, like how you do before selling the x360?

I would think doing a system resore would do the trick it clears and formatss the hard drive.

Stuff like your address or whatever would be on the PSN and not on the console after you format/erase

I do the full just to be safe...

usually on the PC u only do the long one if you are unsure about hard disc errors.

I just got a 60gb ps3 from ebay and it had stuff on it I just did a full system restore after I fixed it.
