Eurovox Scanned and lost everything!

hi all,
hope you are all well.
i must admit to a big mistake.my old eurovox was working fine,until i had the bright! idea of conducting a powerscan.
confidently set the box to powerscan and lost all the bloody channels!.the wife hasnt stopped laughing,the kids are looking at me with a "what a twat" face.
any ideas why the box powerscanned and lost all channels?

hi i have lost all channels without doing power scan at all so must be for all am on west yorks though

depends where u are, in the UK a lot of places are down, some not mentioned on the the VM service page as being down. I take it that all the cables are in and not pulled out, factory reset, rescan on yer provider and see what comes in

sorry just to add, guys ya need to start checking the VM service page for probs in yer areas, should be yer first port of call. The service in the UK the last few days has been up and down like a porn stars ass.
Leeds is down again and so is surrounding areas.

hi mickah,thanks for the reply.
ive checked all leads and connections.it does list all the channels when its scanning,but the scan is over it just says"service unknown"
it's an old blue eurovox,perhaps its had its day.i really wanted it to last until n3 took over though.
any over thoughts?

did ya facory reset and rescan from fresh? You choosing the correct provider?

ive also got an vm box connected via a splitter and that seems to be working fine?

grand,
factory reset and scan on yer provider, 6952 is the baud rate for TW area, 6887 is for old nthell area, do a full scan mate, will take 30 mins or so and ya should be grand

its the end of cable boxs anyways as they are, have a look at the dreambox threads, do a search, some intersting stuff to read in them
