HBO has started its first Blu-ray-only TV ad campaign, promoting a plethora of the broadcaster's most popular catalog titles such as Band of Brothers, True Blood and Entourage.
The spots will run through the Christmas holiday on male-oriented channels such as ESPN, Spike, G4, FX and during football games on Fox.

I wouldn't "buy" any current HBO TV series on BLUray or DVD. They are notorious for not ending their series. Just go visit the HBO forums to see how many they've abandonned without any conclusion.
I'm not about to spend my hard earned money on incomplete series.
I learned my lesson after they dropped Deadwood (3.5 seasons) and Rome (2 seasons). Watch the MKVs and buy them if and when they conclude.

Maybe they are on hiatus, but I never knew where that was.
