Hey all

Which would be a better all around set to get for flashing all and any 360 drives,

Xbox 360 Connectivity Kit V3 and USB Solderless Lite-on DVD Key Extractor Combo

They are about the same price but one would be about $14.00 more with shipping.
But that does not matter, i am just interested in which one would or might be better.

Someone had told me that the one with the USB probe can only be used on a liteon drive.

OK the only thing I can tell you is that I have a KeyGrabber PRO that works flawlessly every time. It's discontinued, but I mention it because it seems to be very similar physically to the Maximus Xtractor. I was probably patterned after the Maxiums. Prom posts I've seen/read about it, they virtually parallel one another, so I'd say get it.

I also have a Connectivity Kit V3 PRO, which is a step up from the one you're contemplating. I've never opened it (it's a backup in case my Keygrabber PRO ever gives out), but I mention it because I trust Xecuter products for the most part.

So either one, you should be good.

Thanks for the help/info so far.
I just want to make sure i get a good setup and don't forget anything and order the stuff i need today or tomorrow.

From what i have read the Maximus also powers the drive so i don't have to use the 360's power so i was also hoping to use it when not flashing to power a BenQ 360 drive for ripping games.

I have a Samsung SH-D163B but i can get a BenQ 360 replacement drive for $20.00 brand new including shipping and want to flash it with the 0800 firmware.

Does this all sound on track so far ?

I flash my 360 by just plugging in the Sata cable to my Sata card.
