Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Limited Edition Console
I'm planning on buying an xbox 360. Before I make the purchase, however, I want to guarantee that this console is moddable so I can play backed up copies of my games on it (I've had some bad experiences with people sitting on my disks so now I pretty much only go with backups). I want to make sure that this console can be modded to play backed up games, can be stealthed, and can play stealthed xbox 360 games (by stealthed, I mean play backed up games on xbox live without getting banned). The console I want it is the new limited edition Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 console bundle. http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Modern-Wa...60601605&sr=8-1
I read somewhere that certain types of consoles can not run ixtreme firmware. Can this one run it? Also, I want to make sure that this console can be modded, stealthed, and run stealthed backups if I flash it. Flashing is the only method I have access to.
On a related note, I am looking for a good tutorial on how to do all of this. If anyone can link me to one that would be great. Thanks.

More than likely it is a 93450C LiteOn. You are able to dump the DVDkey but it requires a little bit of soldering. There is no firmware available for it yet. I'm hoping iX LT will be made for the 93450C firmware.
I would link a tutorial but looks like XBH is having some issues right now.

So you've done no research yourself, and want us to spoon-feed you everything.
Not going to happen. Do some research yourself, every answer you want is easily available via a search, in fact most of the answers are in threads on the first page.

Thanks. If that one can't be flashed, will it work on the new xbox 360 elite (from the holiday bundle)? http://www.amazon.com/Xbox-360-Elite-Win...60603012&sr=8-1 I'd prefer to get the Call of Duty one since the console looks really cool and its got what I want but if it can't be modded I'm willing to settle for another one. If neither of these consoles can be flashed to play stealthed backup games, which ones can be?
I really would prefer to get the Call of Duty bundle though. Do you think it will be flashable and have stealthable firmware available in the next month or so? I'm new to the scene so I don't really know how long developments usually come up.

I read that they were able to hex edit ixtreme 1.6 for the liteon 83850c to work on the 93450C:
Originally posted by ixtreme.net: Yes!!! 'we' have cracked this but so far the only FW around is the old 83850c that needs to be edited in hex and it's still the old 1.6
I can't find a download for it anywhere though, maybe he was talking shit.

Here is a simple tut for the 93450C liteon,.
There's also this one http://www.all-unlock.com/showthread.php?t=67090

The COD box will most likely have the 93450C liteon in it, so there is no firmware for it yet either (maybe there is, i can't find a download). Ixtreme LT should be released sometime soon, hopefully it will be released for the 93450C.

Yes, that is possible. But the original poster said he wanted to play on Live so a hex edit iXtreme 1.6 would not be a "safe" option.

Yes, I'm only going to do a method that won't get me banned on xbox live.

That requires soldering which I'm not proficient at. I'm wondering if a simple method that doesn't require soldering will be available in the near future for a liteon 93450c.

Such a method doesn't currently exist, and as of now we have no real proof such a method will exist again.

Again, there's no way to know for sure if such a method will appear or not. I'd bet that such a metho won't arrive in the "near" future though.
