Hi guys,

I am using TMPGEnc to join 2 or more vcd(s) togther, File -> MPEG Tools. Is there a setting in TMPGenc that allow you to automatically delect the orginal files while the coversion is been made say from .DAT file to MPEG1 or MPEG2????

Thanks :)

Ok at the moment my HD hold 5G, what i did was use TMPGEnc--->Tools----> Merge & Cut to join 6 vcd(s) together so that i can burn it into a single dvd-r.

The problem is that if i copy the 6 vcd(s) disc onto my HD for example 700MB X 6 = 4200 MB. Then i only got 800MB left (5000MB - 4200MB = 800MB).
What i want to ask is that... say i put the 6 vcd(s) onto my HD and use TMPGEnc to join the 6 vcd(s) together, is there a setting in TMPGEnc that allow me to delect the orginal files <--- the 6 vcd(s) i got on my HD while TMPGEnc is joining the 6 vcd(s)

Sorry if i didn't explain it properly, because my english is not that good :(

Bye !

I know what you mean But the answer is No there is No setting Like that so you can only delete the originals after they are no longer in use...
In this day and age you should have more Drive space than 5gb, Hell I got 280gb of Drive space...
Right now there is a Deal on at "TigerDirect" selling 200gb Seagate Hard drives for $99 US....I think it is time to add an extra drive to your PC or if you want to go even cheaper than that you can find 5-40gb Drives on E-Bay from $5-$40 or Cheaper...I got my 160GB Maxtor Drive there for only $80 Canadian which is less than $60 US and it was Brand New....
I think this is your only Option....
Is your Plan to join these Files together so you can put them on DVD???
You might want to use a Different Joiner when joining so many files together because there is a tendancy for the Joined files to go out of Sync when useing Tmpgenc"s Mpeg tools to join Many Files...If you experience this Problem then PM me and I will try to find you a More reliable Mpeg Joiner but I do not think you are going to be able to do much without another bigger Hard drive...well good Luck

Well the 2 Best Mpeg editors and Joiners that will not Cause sync Problems when Joining are Mpeg2VCR and Mpeg Video wizard 2003 both made by a company called Womble..Mpeg2VCR is a More Basic Editor were the Mpeg Video Wizard is a More Full featured editor....
