Hello,

i have searched these forums up and down but couldnt find the answer.
I wanted to buy something in the u.s. psn store and i have a fake u.s. account, but it wont accept my creditcard details. I guess its because i am from germany, so all the adress information from my fake u.s. account obviously dont match the ones going with my cc. It always says "the credit card information you entered is not correct".
Am i right in assuming that it tries to match the cc adress with my account adress? If so, how is it possible that people buy from the psn using fake accounts, because i have heard people doing it. And i am not talking about those pre-paid cards, but credit cards.

AFAIK, the only way is to use a prepaid credit card. You can buy them online. I'm not sure, but I think there is a way to do it through Paypal.

Just buy a US PSN card, there are several ways of doing this.

Ebay.
Ask a friend from America to buy you one and youll send them the money via PayPal
Or use this place http://www.gametimezone.com/games/psn.php

the site seems a bit of a rip off

Quote:
Sony Playstation Network $10 Card (US PS3 Accounts Only)
$14.99
14.99 for a 10 dollar card hmmmmm

http://www.hdmoviesource.com/catalog/pro...roducts_id=2382 $22 for a $20 card, still a rip off but less so

ebay seems good too

Most grocery stores sell prepaid visa cards; you can go online and set the adress for one of these cards to just about anywhere. This is a better option than the PSN cards because visa cards sell for face value.

lol its cool, im not offended at all, the prices are unreasonable, but when i used them, they were the only ones i knew of and i liked them because they rang you to verify who you are when you first purchased with them.

I take it they don't sell clothing and motor oil in German grocery stores either?

I found this; I think it is a list of places in germany that sell prepaid Visa cards... http://www.visa.de/privat/prepaid/visa_prepaid_wo_erhaeltlich.jsp
