i have those digi boxes and havent used mine for like a year. reason was it stopped working, got a friend to do a firm upgrade but never worked again. i can get the channels but the majority are scrambled or bad channel. they have the $ sign next to them so thought maybe those are encrypted. but maybe 1 or 2 of the $ sign do work.
i've tried the emu on and off, chose NV set to n*l, didnt work. then set default key again, switched box off and on but still nothing. im not getting any "updating channels". this happeded maybe 2 years ago but i managed to get it working somehow.

on user setup dunno if i have to change anything... for exaple what is "modulator"??
im in ireland and do have n*l signal coming in cos i can watch at least 16 channels on the telly, and its weird cos the same ones that work on their own dont work with the box.
does anyone know how to fix this issue????? will really appreciate your help. cheers!
what box is it,lt looks like you have the starview looking at the firmware,all ntl channels have changed to n2 then n3 and these boxes dont work,only rte 1,tv3 setanta ireland and prob a music channel

hiya!!! yeh sounds like it... cos not even rte2 will work, have vh1, 4music and some lame ones.
so what does this mean??? throw box in the bin?? =(
