I've now got 5.00 GEN D2 on my PSP (thanks to everyone who got me up to speed), but now that I'd like to start using Playstation Network and the Playstation Store, I have some concerns.
Given that the firmware on my PSP was made by people far more technically adept than I, I wonder if they could take my credit card info. Anyone have any bad stories of this kind of thing happening? Is there a way to download demos, full games and the like to my PC and then transfer them via USB onto my PSP?
Sorry for the double post, but I forgot one more concern I had.
Also, is there any way that the sneaky devils at Sony could see that I'm using a cfw PSP and remotely brick or otherwise hurt my precious PSP? Thanks again for all the help.
problem is with cfw you cannot use those options from your psp, you can download some to your computer and transfer to the psp, but you cannot use the psp to access the psn, it will tell you, that you need a firmware update. talks were that gen-d3 would have this option restored, but the folks at gen decided it was not worth the effort. there words, enjoy the option of putting free files on your psp, and be greatful for that.
